"Monte Oliveto"

is located in Calmasino, a hamlet of Bardolino, on the moraine hills which embrace the southern part of Lake Garda in the heart of the Bardolino Classic wine region and is surrounded by vineyards and green olive trees facing the lake. Cesare Rossi and his family runs the fourth generation of the wine and olive-growing cultures with passion, and are delighted to welcome and host you with special tastings of their best products.

“Monte Oliveto” Agricultural Company is set in the heart of the Verona side of Lake Garda. Calmasino town centre is just a few minutes-walk, and Bardolino town centre is a very short drive away (about 5 minutes). You can then drive, or catch local busses towards, the northern part of the Lake to discover the characteristic, historic rural and fishermen towns together with the major ones, like Torri del Benaco and Malcesine with its amazing medieval castle.

MONTE BALDO

A cable car service from Malcesine (nearly an hour away either by car or by bus from us) allows our guests to explore the summit of the local mountain Monte Baldo with its maximum elevation of 2218 metres. It is a truly magnificent experience: the blue of the lake right below the mountain merges wonderfully with the blue of the sky, the profiles of the Alps, the snowy peaks and the rolling hills all around offer an incredible and breathtaking view. Activities, excursions, mountain sports and local traditional artisan products can be enjoyed all year round.

Sigurta’ Garden

From March to November, thousands of people from all over world visit the Sicurta’ garden park every year, to enjoy this truly enchanting natural paradise, well maintained and preserved day after day. VERONA

The nearby City of Verona cannot be missed out. A world heritage city, Verona is one of the most visited in Italy, for its ancient history, its historical Roman and medieval buildings. The Arena, a stunning Roman amphitheatre, is the crown jewel of the City, where operas and concerts take place every summer. There are the narrow streets and the buildings which celebrate the love and romance of the masterpiece “Romeo and Juliet”, Shakespeare’s tragedy. Our guests will have their breath taken away by the City castle, the countless churches, the museums, the bridges over the rough and big river Adige and the luxurious palaces overlooking it.
